Virginia Cooper is the Lieutenant of the Fourth Precinct of the New York Police Department on New York Undercover.

Biography

Lieutenant Virginia Cooper is the commanding officer of the detective squad at the NYPD's Fourth Precinct. She is as tough and committed as any supervisor in the NYPD. As a woman, she's had to fight twice as hard for everything she's gotten. As an officer, she commands the respect of her precinct and the admiration of her young detectives.

Cooper is married and has four children. One died of leukemia at the age of eight. A daughter named Megan was 13 years old in 1995.
